Deadlines, Efficiency etc.

After 4 years at IIT Bombay I have become conditioned me to peak performance only with a deadline hovering dangerously close (all-nighters before exams, last minute submissions, taking baths only before meetings/conferences).

But this method’s not going to work at office with a only a single deadline for that HUGE pile of work on my desk and a to-do list longer than the 7th Harry Potter book.
The solution: Google Calendar – with intermediate deadlines :-) They aren’t as effective as REAL deadlines, but help in putting some pressure!
Yes, the same “break down the work into simpler steps and take one step at a time” method. Works with me!
