He is Reed College’s most famous dropout, Apple Co-Founder, Founder of NeXT (after his ouster from Apple), PIXAR founder and again, in 1996, the iCEO of Apple.
Steve had a strong Indian connection, heralded by Prasadam - a free weekly meal at a local Hare Krishna Temple in Portland. Steve, in his early years, traveled to India for spiritual enlightenment and returned as a Zen Buddhist.
Steve’s charisma and salesmanship created ‘the Reality Distortion Field’ during his Keynote Speeches popularly known as Steve-Notes.
