(This post is dedicated to my friend who once asked me – Why Pearl Jam Black? What is so great about the song?)
I have been listening to Black almost everyday for 8 years now, i have observed two things.
1 – Mike McCready’s guitar solo is different everytime. I wait for him to play the guitar solo and every time he amazes me with his improvisation.
2 – Eddie’s freestyle ending.
This is not a great video (below). But the song changes once McCready starts his axe work. Lookout for Eddie’s freestyle.

They are a grunge band with a difference.
