Even our driver laughed when we told him to drive us to Prasads for Eega movie.
He said "Aiiyaaa madam.. you are watching now.. Even print came. You can see on tv also in few days"
Embarrassed, we told him, we like watching in theater only.
Half embarrassed, we got the tickets too. The show was almost houseful. But we got the tickets : E1, E2, E3.
I was as excited as a kid to watch this movie!
A lot of people have watched it and I am no movie buff to review it. So, here are few thoughts:
How a small insignificant thing can achieve wonders just by increasing its strength and concentrating on victory of itself and its loved ones than the defeat of the other was well scripted and narrated.
In a time when insignificant things in which i am interested like emotions, language, visual poetry, regional Indian languages are losing its charm but are of great value this is inspiring.
My ventures may have dreams which are idealistic but then this movie confirmed the fact that keep working relentlessly.
I loved the way, Eega exercised and time and again protected itself with smaller but powerful weapons like the needle.
It reminded me of the proverb: What a sword can't, a needle can.
I was thinking of myself and also of the post Metaphor of our Times written by Subhrop ji. However, I found it more significant to myself.
Indeed, let thy actions speak and your work hum for you.
Thank you Raja Mouligaru and the Eega team for replacing my inhibitions with confidence.
