Okay, the first time I got to know about the Lakme Face Magic Daily Wear Souffle
was at the counter...I was looking for a replacement tinted moisturiser, Im not quite happy with the Biotique one, will tell you about that later. She showed me the same, and well, you know me, I got it!
Im not super-excited about this product, let me tell you in the beginning, as this is not really something I need. But before I go into the details, here's a little information on the product:Available Shades:
Natural Marble (Fair To Wheatish) - is the one I used
INR 99 for 30ml
Comes in a small tub with a plastic rounded lid and a plastic cover to hold the product in place. I didn't find it very convenient while traveling as the product has chances of spilling or getting on to the lid, thus making it risky while opening.
Soft yes, but its a little too thin I would say. Doesn't have the consistency of a foundation (it's not a foundation I know). Not very heavy on skin though, in fact, is quite light on skin.
If you are looking to cover out any blemishes or spots with this one, then don't try. This product is extremely low-coverage and is not meant for coverage at all. This is just a regular everyday wear kind of thing, which you should not be using as a foundation (unless you plan to pile up layers of it, which I can't tell you about cause I didn't try it out). This is in between a foundation and a tinted moisturiser. I thought this would be more like a tinted moisturiser, but it isn't. Im still looking for one (so if you've found anything good, except Biotique which I already have, lemme know please).
For those of you who've already used Lakme products before, this has the typical Lakme fragrance. Not too strong, yet there. I like it, so no complaints on that front.Pros:
Good for daily use
Very low staying power
Well, I won't say anything else about this, as this is clearly not a product I needed and will not go for it in the future. Just finishing off the tub. But this can be quite a good one for girls who are looking to stay away from foundation and dont want a tinted moisturiser either.
