I haven't had the opportunity to read the novel by the same name - but was recently introduced to a glimpse of the cinematic representation of Man Booker Prize winning novel.
Scheduled for a release in December 2012, there was something about the trailer that moved me. Perhaps the background score, a glimpse of Ang Lee's directorial genius, the presence of a Royal Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker in the cast or the simplicity of the plot that comes across to audience in just two minutes.
Starring Tabu, Toby Maguire and Irrfan Khan amongst known names - this is something I'm actually looking forward to.
