Gosh! Am I in love?
Butterflies don’t fly in my stomach
Nor do I feel like shouting aloud
I am at peace with myself,
Not lonely in a crowd
But there are times when it seems surreal
And dragons fly, fantasy seems real
At an age, when I am supposed to be calm and nice
I think of you and to a life as bland as kichidi, it adds spice
Gosh! Am I in love?
I do not want to clutch you in my grip
Nor do I want you to hold me by the hip
But thinking of you, my heart does somersault
And, let’s not blame here. No! its not your fault
The heart wants to love and be loved
And right now, it’s your name that just occurred
<Pardon my kiddish attempt>
A rough work of fiction!
