This Rakshabandhan, I gave my usual all out ethnic blow out a fashionable twist. You remember my last year's extravaganza, ya? Check it out
here. Anyhow, so this year I decided to make the ethnic meet rocker chic. East meets West. My neon green kurti with bright pink borders with authentic Lucknowi chikankari meets my black tights with goth studs at the bottom. The silver tassled delicate earrings meet the studded black wrist wrap. Mental imagery deceiving you? Never mind, take a look. :)
Before that, did I mention that this post also has my take on the Rakhi Challenge, which was
K's idea! So testing myself as a fashion blogger, I went ahead and used rakhis to decorate my loosely tied braid to complement this fusion look. The challenge was to use rakhis as an accessory but not on the wrists. What say? :)
