Kayaking for the first time

Morning got into preparations for Kayaking. Had gone ahead and used up the groupon coupon I had bought a few months back. Perhaps my last few weeks in Houston and wanted to have that experience.
There was a chance of thunderstorms in the evening according to weather reports, but I wanted to take that chance anyways.
Reached on time. A few minutes of basic lessons on how to handle the paddle. There was 5 tandem paddlers and 3 singles including me. Made some silly mistakes after I got onto the Kayak. But quickly got the hang of it.
7 mile course. Tiring. Very tiring. But it was a different experience. Met a desi gang.
Evening to the Krishna temple with Manish and Neelesh. Hit the bed early.
