He sat down in defeat, tired after losing the most precious thing he ever had. Sun was almost unbearable but more than sun it was the laughter troubling like thousand needles in his skin. They were laughing because they won and cut the rope of his beautiful kite. It was blue in color with silver stars on the both sides of central stick. A print of half-moon was on the top. He loved it not just because it was beautiful because it reminded him of beautiful places he used to dream. It was gone, flying away from him. He kept watching with tears rolling down on his cheeks. He ran down on the street the direction of the kite.

He lost it to the tall buildings in his colony, without clue he felt the wind on his face coming from the west and quickly ran to the east. He started to sprint like he never sprinted before. Leaving the colony behind in the shadows and he caught the glimpse of his kite over the high voltage electric wires going out of the city. He quickly prayed that his kite not to get caught in them and kite crossed them flying away in open fields out of the city above the pipelines. Finally the kite started to come down, and fell into the one of the fields. He ran there, searched and found it. His eyes became wet again but this time it was tears of joy, happiness and victory. He felt happy more than ever. He kissed it caressed it like the grownups will love the diamond. He started to return back with silver drops shining in his eyes. When he came back on the road he didn’t know the way to his house. He kissed his kite again and tried to remember the way and followed his heart with big smile on his face and most precious treasure in his hands.
