The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has slashed down its earlier natural gas production targets and released new production targets of natural gas for the 12th five year plan beginning 1st April 2012.
The Ministry had projected natural gas production during the entire 12th plan period as 341.5 billion cubic metres (BCM). But as Reliance Industries Limited is not able to produce enough natural gas from its D-6 wells, so
