What book(s) have you read that you’re secretly ashamed to admit?
This is a tough one. I have always been someone who believed that any book was a product of painstaking effort on the part of the author- however trivial the subject matter was. And so I have always tried to look at every book in a positive light. So, I don't think I can actually bring myself to say I have been ashamed to have read a book. If I had to be ashamed of something, it would have to be that I haven't read enough books yet. :P
Anyways, since the question demands an answer I have to admit that I have read a ton of thrillers that were less than brilliant in their writing and execution. I don't remember the books or the authors specifically but yeah, I could say I am ashamed of that. :P
