What’s hair-cut got to do with feeling good?

I don’t understand the psychology behind that – but I feel good. After a good hairwash, when the stylist gently wraps the cover around you and carefully maneuvers the pair of scissors through your hair, to give you the desired style …followed by a dash of hair potion for extra sheen and the blow dry for a grand finale. Instantly, you feel a new YOU. No?
I got one recently, and am happy with the results. 
I typically go to this stylist who understands my hair type very well, and does a very good job at it.
