
This week, the food waste is limited to only a bowlful of steamed rice. I don't like to eat rice, most of the time. But it is the savior when I am busy in some office work /house hold work . I don't need to cook Roti (Indian Bread) . Steamed rice could be eaten with any curry. My daughter also likes steamed rice. I cooked this rice on Wednesday , it was cooked more than needed. A bowlful of steamed rice was saved after we finished our dinner. No one ate it next time and so, its just a waste.
One more waste to declare is -- the henna I prepared for using as hair mask today. Though this is not fit in food waste category, this is certainly a waste. And I feel sorry about it.
This is how my fridge looks now.
Upper shelf has Cream,Green Chillies,Coriander, Dates and cut Coli Flower in containers. The smallest container has paste of ginger-garlic-chilli to be used in curry seasoning.
The upper middle shelf has NOTHING !!
The lower middle shelf has a bowl having 3 Apples and a container of milk.
The lower most shelf has 2 containers of cut Spinach and cut Fenugreek leaves. The basket has container of curry leaves.
The vegetable tray has 3/4th of Bottle Guard and 25o gms. capsicum.
