Now you may doubt where can we feel our pulse? You can feel your pulse under the thumb in the wrist. In this place, you can very clearly feel your pulse beats. Why should you monitor your pulse? The important reason for us to monitor our pulse is to check whether our hearts function normally or not. What is the right time to check our pulse rate? You make sure that you have not consumed any drugs or coffee or tea before you monitor your pulse because these materials may ignite the pulse rate from its normal rate for sometime.

What is the normal heart beat rate for a healthy person?

It is calculated that a normal person's heart rate is 60 to 100 times per minute. This rate may increase or decrease if you take any medcine. Each person differs in the pulse rate. It is hard to decide what is the right heart rate in general. Some may have more than the normal level some may have less than the normal level. But if anyone has very abnormal high heart rate of above 130 or below 50 must consult a medical specialist regarding this.

The heart rate differs from person to person from their body conditions of health, their food habits, their health habits, or any diseases. Often-changing  irregular heart rate is known as cardiac arrhythmia. So prevent any dangerous conditions of your heart, it is essential measuring pulse rate often. To prevent your heart from any serious illnesses, you should understand the facts about high blood pressure and what are your pulse ranges.

Pulse and Blood Pressure: These two are interlinked to decide your heart's health condition. It is not normal to beat your heart irregularly more or irregularly less in number of beats.

Paroxysmal Supraventricular Tachycardia (PSVT): 'Heart works through electrical signals it gets from an area of the heart named sinoarterial node (SA node).  Heart has two atriums and two ventricles. Four rooms of the heart contracts and extends while heart beats. This should happen in a regular rhythmic manner.

Electrical signal disturbance may happen in a person of a long-term smoker, a long-term alcohol user, a long-time coffee drinker etc. These persons often get anxiety symptoms, tightness in the chest, palpitations, high pulse rate, and/or shortness of breath etc. Irregular heart beats may lead to fainting or dizziness and even in dangerous conditions to death. Normally an irregular heart rate does not make immediately bad effects, in fact. If you watch your pulse rate often and write your rate in a notebook, this will tell what is your heart condition is.

Irregular heart beats in chronic condition may lead to fatal state of death if heart cannot pump enough blood to the brain. Not only brain, all other organs will also be affected by this condition. Blood may clot in the upper chambers of the heart in conditions like atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter etc. These are all very dangerous conditions.

Treatment for Heart Diseases: To escape from any heart abnormalities, you should change your lifestyle active from sedentary lifestyle, such as, sitting all time before a computer or working all time just sitting in a chair. You should reduce fat materials from your foods and add more protein stuffs in it along with good vitamins. Simply you can consume more fruits and vegetables than consume just boiled foods.

How to do Pulse Rate Watch by Yourself: As already told, keep your index finger and middle finger and thumb under the wrist area below any thumb. You can now feel the pulse of your heart there. Just count how many times it pulses using a stopclock and write it on a paper. Do this for one or two times to check the count is correct. Then compare it to the normal heart rate levels of 60 to 100. If you are in the normal rate, no problem, keep it up. If they are in the abnormal range of above 130 or below 30, you can consult immediately a physician to check your heart's health to prevent any dangerous conditions.
