Had a tough time moving the things from the apartment alone into The Village all alone. Chauhan was there to help me with the table.
May 24 2012
After office went driving along with Saurabh Chauhan to Dallas. Stayed at Raghu's apartment.
May 25 2012.
Morning picked up Naren and Poulina.
Trip to Colorado Springs.
On the way, took a detour to visit the Sand dunes. It was a good experience. And a beautiful drive.
Reached the motel at night. Total distance from Houston was a 16 hour drive.
May 26 2012
Drove to pikes peak, but road up to the peak was blocked because of strong winds.
Drove downhill and visited the Cave of the Winds.
Then Garden of the Gods.
Back to the motel.
May 27 2012.
Again to the pikes peak. It was less than 26F atop the peak. Chilling.
The drive was wonderful. Never have I been through such sharp turns and bends!
Then to Royal Gorge scenic railway. Which wasn't scenic at all.
Then to the Royal Gorge park. It was okay.
Then back driving. It was good to be out of Houston for some time. But my mind was still not very clear. Missing home badly.

Reached back to Dallas in the morning.
A bit of baseball batting inside the cages again.
Then back to Houston.
Final clearing up of the apartment at Retreat.
