Its summer vacation time for most of us. While many us are interning, going places, quite many are sitting idle and may be getting bored.
If you are thinking of things do apart from sleeping, browsing and watching TV, what about getting random!
Well, here is a list of random things you can do this summer:

Get away
Bored of the usual sameness! Go hitchhiking, to a hill station, live on your own, switch off that phone of yours that keeps on ringing, take a break from facebook and face life! Do rock climbing/ bungee jumbing/ river rafting/ camping etc.
Get Fit
Learn gymnastics, yoga, aerobics, karate, kick boxing, salsa, tango etc.
Go on Random Dates Say you see a good looking guy or a girl, go and strike a conversation. If possible ask for lunch/dinner. Do it with at least 10!
Go for Random Jobs
What about taking up a job in a nearby departmental/ provisional store/ restaurant /local library or giving tution to neighbouring kids
Get Rural
Visit a village, stay there for 10-15 days, try your hands at local things, say farming or pottery or weaving, anything!
Go Different
Go for a makeover, get peircing done/ get a haircut/ haircolor/ wardrobe change.
Be a kidLike the way we used to make crafts in school, Watch MAD/ Art Attack and make crafts.
Watch Shinchan/ Ben 10 etc and try to mimic a cartoon character for atleast a day!
Learn to fix things
All the time we try to fix one relation or other. What about fixing your TV or say the leaking tap? Try to learn the work of electrician/ mechanic / plumber etc etc. Next time you would be more useful when suddenly electricity takes a trip away from your house.
Watch and Read
Make a list of all the movies and books you want to see/ read, find those movies/ book, watch/ read all of them.
Bring a change
Start a cleanliness campaign in your locality.
Teach your house maid.
Go to an orphanage/ old age home daily and spend time there.
Do anything you think would bring a change in other's life.
Get Random Information
File an RTI application about one random thing, say the salary of all those employed for house keeping job in president house.
Find out the history/ story behind atleast 15 brands, say Remanica, Reebok, Nestle, Honda et cetera.
Get Spiritual
Live in an ashram for a month or half, join a satsang, start meditation, instead of saying hi, say radhe krishna/ jai ram ji ki to everyone.
Learn to love
Give hugs to atleast 5 people daily, smile at at least 10 strangers everyday.
