Heavy thunderstorms throughout the night and morning.
Morning to drop Glenn and his wife to the airport in my Durango. Ritik was there with me too.
Then to Avis to return Glenn's car. Washed the Durango myself.
Then with Manish and Saurabh C to Houston downtown to see the Art Car Parade.
Returned at 5pm. The Texas sun is tiring. Went off to sleep.
Got up at 7pm and realized my laptop screen isn't working.
Got Sudip's Laptop.

Working till noon at home. Had lunch and then went to the office to work.
Evening came back to prepare dinner. Returned Sudips laptop. He just arrived back from Austin after dropping Sanjib.
I test drove the 2012 Chrysler Grand Voyager Touring . Stiff and powerful van it is.
Then went to office to continue work. But came back unhappy as the monitor port doesn't support my laptop.
No work for the night. It was a kind of a peaceful feeling. So much that I wrote a few lines:
The strange & elusive feeling of inner peace,
As rare as rare can be.
When, for a change, work tends to cease, And it turns as quiet as quiet can be.
No guilt, no conscience, no fear of the dawn,
A sight to see, when life slows down.
And still sober I am - if life was a midnight pub,
Its just that my machine has totally given up!

A tiring trip to Houston Deloitte office and back to get my laptop repaired. The ITS guys here are really so helpful and cheerful.
