I have neither the patience
Nor the inclination to entertain you.
They keep surprising me,
Like uninvited guests;
They irritate me.
I pacify myself, my heart.
I protect my mind from them.
These unwanted thoughts –
They do spoil the party.
I am comfortable –
Not knowing.
Not worrying.
Questions I am afraid
I have no answer to.
