It has been quite a few days since I met my maternal uncle. Hence took an undecided move to his place with dad . And we, Like a family of Cullents we followed him . Despite I was indolent , i dint hesitate to move to that place far away from my residence, for I had 2 companies to rejoice with . Agalya (7) and bro, Keerthi (3) . The moment I entered the colony , i found nothing fascinating except a few familiar faces with whom I played in childhood days...
Everyone is grown up now.. Whoever was seen in Half trousers , and small skirts when i was 6, are now in formal shirts, with neat tie and long pants....or in cotton sarees with a handbag clinging to their skinny shoulders..
Every thing has changed..
Small houses have become palatial bungalows
Cycles have turned into motor bikes
and bikes have turned into fancy cars....
and so people andtheir mindsets...
The usual ,higgerdly-piggerdly parked vehicles , unwelcomed us at the cutting edge.
It was a dense colony in Trichy , where you can see fifty apartments in the place of fifteen.
where narrows Gaps b/w adjacent lanes would refrain even a cycle from entering
"Second Floor , First House" is the satellite location of my uncle's home
Before I could press the calling bell , a baby's scream beeped from in.
It was him !!
-the male asset of the family , keerthi...
That 'Blar' was too weird to guess whether it is a warm welcome or the other
The smiles that blossomed on their faces with hands folded for "namaskaram" made our hearts bloom in joy.
A not-so-palatial hall with colorful graffiti like scribblings on wall, seemed a cute reminiscence or rather a dejavu for me...
A-Z scribbled with crayons , scattered slates , double sided rectangular bag and dispersed home work notes , brought me the days of kinder garden into picture...

Thank god it was not a monday...
I knew how hectic a monday morning 'd be..
whether you are an I.T.ian or just a K.G going baby...
