Okay I'm going to drop hints as I progress..pat yourself on the back if you guess it by the end.
Okay a day or two back I was watching this movie, animated movie. The kind where there is a crime-fighting dude in a costume.
And I swear I heard Neil Patrick Harris' voice..seriously. Now I know dudes really love him, and well he love them back ( if you know what I mean..but who am I to judge). But still Barney Stinson is a pretty awesome character..who doesn't swear by the plays in his playbook or vow to his "BroCode".
But who knew the same dude, long before people knew him as Barney Stinson, Neil Patrick Harris played a spandex wearing superhero sidekick in a cartoon movie.
The guy has probably immortalized Hot vs Crazy graphs and Suits for my generation did in fact lend his voece to a building hopping, ass-kicking sidekick to perhaps the biggest, baddest and one of my favorite superhero's.
Still don't know which movie I am talking about..well "A little Bird holds the Secret".
Okay, the common chick "X" betwee Barney and Ted..yes, "robin".
Let me elaborate, Dick Grayson was the first Robin to join Batman and as far as I am aware after he steps out of the "Robin" alter-ego he embraces "Nightwing" as his new identity inspired by a Krypotonia Vigilante named so after a bird native to Krypton, and that's the character he played- "Nightwing".
Now which movie? Okay think of a connect between Jason Todd and the Joker..anyone??
Okay Jason Todd aka the new Robin assumes this villainous identity previously attributed to the Joker after he is brought back to life by Ra'as in the Laazurus Pit..still no?
Okay, the connect is Red Hood.
So the puzzle finally comes together, Neil Patrick Harris plays Nightwing( voice only) in batman Under the
Red Hood.
So here's the deal after making this startlingly discovery (at least for me) I decided to make a more in depth analysis and it terns out the serial womanizer has lent is voice to more than one memorable animated character..
Okay, a fellow comic book/cartoon fan would remember the movie Justice League: The New Frontier. Well our boy Stinson plays Barry Allen o'er there. (Barry Allen= The Flash..yes the super fast dude in red spandex)
Also think, Stever from Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs...yes that's right Neil's voice is what you heard.
Okay it is unlikely you have seen this last one unless you are like me, (not exactly animated) but in Cats&Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Neil P Harris plays Lou the Beagle.
Anyway all this was news to me, despite the fact I have seen everyone of these movies atleast once, so I thought I'd share it with you..And if you still don't believe me here's a "snip" from Wikipedia
