'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemCooking food that is quick to make, palatable for children, delicious and attractive to adults can be tricky. So, when I work along these lines, I cook up amazing things and love to share it with you readers, so that you can try it too. This eggplant literally takes minutes to put together. 'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemI have been a regular reader of www.vegrecipesofindia.com and love almost all the recipes there. Lately, I have been in love with the nut milk and coconut milk Dassana, the author uses in place of regular milk. The nut milk and coconut milk has it's own health benefits other than being a great option for vegans and also those who are not tolerant to lactose. I had bought some mangoes recently and had to let them sit for a couple days to let them ripe(...)'

And, I just came up with the idea and shall make it and tell you how it tasted:)Coming back to the curry, I can confidently say my parents have eaten a lot more green leafy vegeta(...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemI prefer using whipped cream as a frosting for my cakes, as opposed to the butter cream frosting. It feels more light and airy and is not as heavy as the butter cream one. Also I could use a small amount of sugar when using whipped cream than in the one with butter. However, the kiddos were not happy with white frosting and wanted to see some colors. My new discovery of beet based color led me to make use of it in my frosting too. This is just the way(...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemBrown lentils are rich in fiber, iron and protein. They get cooked very fast and you can make it to suit your liking. Add a little extra water and make it soupy and slurp it by itself or serve it with rice on the side. You might want to add lesser water and make it less soupy and sere it with some homemade bread. Possibilities are endless but one thing is for sure, you will get hooked to it rightaway and will be making it again and again. These lentils off(...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemWhat does water taste like? Nothing right? Isn't that one of the reason people turn to artificially flavored, sugar-laden carbonated drinks? We have to change that and take charge of what we put inside our bodies and also set a healthy example to folks around, to make healthy choices of food and drinks that can leave lasting effect. Lemon water is good to taste and also good for a number of reasons. We can add lots of other fruits and herbs and let them in(...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemI did not like pineapples as a child, because they were too prickly to hold, hard to cut and they irritated my mouth. It kept me from bringing them home even as an adult, until I learnt the trick to handle them well. After you buy one from the store, let it sit on the counter-top for a day or two. Use a good knife to cut into slices and carefully peel the skin away. Then, cut it into big chunks and blend it and turn it into a smoothie:) And, it taste(...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemI could drink up smoothies eagerly, rather than sit and chew and eat up raw vegetables and fruits. Smoothies are a great way to get you daily servings of fruits and vegetables and the best part is, you can sneak in all those awful tasting vegetables camouflaged with an increased amount of the ones you actually love. 'Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem"Decadence in every bite" is this dessert. This is a very easy dessert to put together and it looks and tastes amazing. It is not at all a "mess" as the name suggests but is an amalgamation of different colors, flavors and textures. It is fruity, soft, crunchy and creamy with undertones of lemon flavor from the lemon zest and vanilla from the meringue cookies. This is a great way to treat family and friends with the least effort. It is a (...)'

'Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemSome recipes must be tried, tested and perfected over time. Making perfect bread that is soft, airy light and that would feel and look like store bought bread minus all the unnatural, unhealthy long list of ingredients was my goal for sometime now. Given that baking with yeast can be tricky, kneading the dough to perfection is also vital to achieve the right results.
