Raj and Leelavathi story began in 1965, during the shoot of 'Maduve Madi Nodu'. It was at this time she became pregnant. Leelavati did not play with rajkumar from 1965 except old commitment films till 1972. For 7 years she was not able to speak and show his own son. leela was barred from raj films. so, she changed son name vinod to 'vinodraj' syncs with raj's original name muthuraj. They second movie was in 1974 famous hit Bhaktha Kumbar, the film had scenes in which had connection (...)

What a great list! I make my own yogurt, ghee (just started a few months ago), cookies, idli/dosa batter, beans, and rotis. Since my family has only three members (one of whom is under 5), I only make 6 or less rotis per meal, and I find it easier and faster to make rotis than to cook rice (with some prep work - I knead the dough the previous day, or freeze/defrost it ahead of time).I

I am glad you enjoyed McCloud. I picked up Aya a few weeks ago after reading about it on Niranjana's blog and enjoyed it.A work of graphic non-fiction I read this year and cannot recommend enough is 'The Photographer' by Emmanuel Guibert (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5967064-the-photographer). This is such an achievement, Nupur! I don't know the first thing about quilting, but I did wander into a tiny but wonderful Quilt Museum near Lancaster a couple of years ago, and was stunned at all the gorgeous patterns and the amount of work that must have gone into making these quilts. It is great that you talk about this topic! only a while back I was lamenting the moms shown in Telugu movies are still so 'housewively' and deferring to men. Hasnt changed in 70 years of cinema:)
