Growing up with an elder brother who is obsessed with video games, well I must say it is rather fun playing them.
And winning is just another wonderful feel.
Video-gamer is any day better than a smoker. Both is a lethal combination though :P

I came across this site, looking to introduce my 2.5 year old English speaking grand daughter to learn Tamil words. The one introducing vowels is very good, exactly what I was looking for. It will be great if there is one with lots of common objects with pictures just to learn the names. Also, it would be very nice to have similar one for all the "ooyir mei ezhuthukkal". I am a HUGE fan of Alexander McCall Smith too, Arpita. I started with the Precious Ramotswe series, then went on to read every book in the Isabel Dalhousie series. I love his writing, the simplicity and depth embedded in every line, the purity and authenticity and intelligence of the writing... :) Btw, I highly recommend his 'La's Orchestra Saves the World,' a book I enjoyed immensely.

Ghee (nothing beats the taste of homemade ghee), pasta sauce, pesto, cookies, cakes, guacamole are some items that I make at home. Recently we began making paneer at home and I don't think we will go back to the store brand again. We use white vinegar to split the milk, not lemon juice. The results are to die for... :) The paneer is soft and crumbly but it also sets enough that you can cut
