If you get a chance read a book called Konark by Pratibha Rai, it has beautiful story woven around the temple. Konark is an epitome of Indian Art after Kandariya Mahadev in Khauraho and Brihideeshwara Temple in Tanjore.

Sriram, I checked many pictures of Tiget cave and in more than half there is water in front of it. I guess the depression in its front would go dry only in dry months otherwise this is bound to collect water.
